Cirque du Soleil ECHO marks the company’s 20th Big Top production, a visually daring and emotionally resonant piece crafted by director Mukhtar Omar Sharif Mukhtar. The creative team features some of the most exciting voices in contemporary design: Es Devlin’s monumental sets, Nicolas Vaudelet’s intricate costumes, and an original score by Jade Pybus, Andy Theakstone, and Hugo Montecristo. At the centre of the show stands the Cube, a transformative structure that evolves throughout the performance, framing aerial feats, ground acrobatics, and immersive projections. This ever-changing environment creates a theatrical landscape that mirrors the story’s themes of collaboration, imagination, and rebuilding.

The Story

In Cirque du Soleil ECHO, Future and her loyal companion Ewai encounter a mysterious Cube that opens new pathways between humans, animals, and their world. Alongside newfound friends, they embark on a journey to rebuild their environment piece by piece, discovering how small actions can create lasting change. The story is layered with emotion, wonder, and moments left open for each audience member’s imagination.
